Interesting hike up the Glenncliffe Trail to the summit of Mt. Moosilauke. This is a 7.8 mile hike with almost 3300 ft. of elevation. The hike is on the Appalachian trail and we saw about a dozen thru hikers. We also ran into a very sick moose standing in the trail that we had to bushwack around at about 4500 ft. Al helped a family get around one tricky part to avoid the Moose on the way back down. We finished in 5 hrs 20 min including breaks.
