Went up and hiked Mt. Jackson before the snowstorm hits tomorrow. This hike is usually a lot easier, 5.2 miles with a little over 2000 ft of ascent elevation, but it was super icy on the ledges approaching the summit and very cold and snowing up there!! I had microspikes on but HIllsounds or full crampons would have worked better. Carried snowshoes but didn't use them -- won't be long!
