Forecast was for clouds and cold and I almost didn't go....so easy to talk myself out of hiking these days. It was snowing in Lincoln and totally socked in at the beginning of the hike but such a nice day after things lifted! Beautiful views, snowshoes all the way. It wasn't easy, the snow was still soft and sinkable especially because there were a couple of people with no snowshoes on churning up the track that others painstakingly made. I was over an hour slower for this one than normal but I guess I'm getting my snowshoe legs back and it takes a little effort. Felt good!
