The parking lot at the Hairpin turn is still not plowed out. My jeep barely made it in the lot so after tomorrow's storm I can't imagine anyone will be able to park there. This hike is 9.8 miles with 2457 ft of ascent elevation -- usually a nice moderate hike but with fresh snow only partly broken out trail it was a good workout and it took us 7 hrs including breaks (1.5 hrs longer than normal time). There was over 3 ft of snow on the ridge -- snowshoes all the way today! Saw only 3 other people all day. Beautiful Christmas Eve hike!
