The weather was iffy, windier than I expected, light showers on the drive north. I hiked Garfield knowing I might not get a view and it was a good morning. Not many flowers, water was low, trails were dry and up high the wind made some scary tree noises. Still had a very peaceful hike and was glad to finish in less then 5 hrs. This is what I would call an easy hike...very moderate grade over 5 miles so the total hike is 10 miles, about 3200 ft of ascent.
