Wishing everyone a happy Labor Day! This is my fist posting since April.
This season has been busy between work-related travel, the summer program and kidney stones!
Thankfully I have kept up some photography and after several procedures, hopefully stone-free!
Autumn seems to be around the corner and plans include some travel to catch the beautiful colors.

The spring brought the arrival of birds to the area and several yellowheaded blackbirds set up home by a farm pond.
This male had just decapitated a blue dragonfly and in the process of feeding. Nature is fascinating.
