The Song of Riwanon.

Riwanon était une poétesse qui naquit vers la fin du ve siècle dans un manoir près de la Manche. Un barde qui allait de château en château vint un soir chanter non loin du manoir. Il rêva pendant deux nuits consécutives qu'il avait épousé une jeune vierge du pays. D'après le conseil d'un ange qui lui apparu en songe, il alla le lendemain à la recherche de Rivanon, qu'il trouva puisant de l'eau à une fontaine.
Ils s’épousèrent au son de la harpe celtique et de récits légendaires en buvant l’hydromel ambré et donnèrent bientôt naissance à un saint très populaire, Saint Hervé. Enfin une légende qui finit bien !

Riwanon was a poetess who was born at the end of the fifth century in a manor near the English Channel. A bard who went from castle to castle came one evening to sing not far from the manor. He dreamed for two consecutive nights that he had married a young virgin of the country. According to the advice of an angel who appeared to him in a dream, he went the next day in search of Rivanon, whom he found drawing water from a fountain.
They married to the sound of the Celtic harp and legendary tales while drinking amber mead and gave birth soon to a very popular saint, Saint Hervé.
Finally a legend that ends well!
