La péninsule Bretonne s’achève, à l’Ouest, dans les remous de la mer d’Iroise en dessinant une sorte de trident. La pointe nord de ce trident c’est le pays des Abers ; au centre la presqu’île de Crozon et, au sud, à l’extrémité occidentale de la Cornouaille, la pointe du Cap Sizun.
