Taking the advice of renowned photographer Jim Brandenburg, I simply had to look to my own neighborhood to find nature's splendor. This trail located 2 miles from my house offers wonderful ecological diversity that includes many species of birds, deer, racoon, fox, mink, and wildflowers. Taking one's time through the trail allows the ordinary to become extraordinary.

Beautiful photographs...

Just walked the trail for the first time today and even in the dead of winter I can see the beauty and historic feel of this special place....

Looking forward to seeing this locale in all her seasons!
