Gossersweiler-Stein, Germany

Gosserweiler is in a hilly area covered by thin forests. It is near Annweiler and is overlooked by Castle Trifels. The castle is a 19th century reproduction but the original (of which little remains) has some history, including being the place Richard the Lionheart was held when captured by Duke Leopold V of Austria on his way back from the 3rd crusade.
