If you are serious about birding and/or bird photography then chances are good that you will eventually be planning a trip to Texas. More species of birds can be found in Texas than pretty much any other state making in one of the top birding locations in the country.
Due to its large size and its location Texas has a wide variety of habitats to explore which I have been doing extensively over the past dozen years or so. I am lucky enough to live in the Houston area which is at the intersection with a variety of biological zones resulting in high biodiversity within an hour or two by car. This location is also within reasonable driving distance to such interesting places as the Rio Grande Valley, Big Bend National Park and even Mexico.
If you have a trip to Texas coming up why not take advantage of my birding and/or photography experience in the area to help you make the most of it. I can help you with day trips around the Houston area, short trips to the places like the Rio Grande Valley, the Texas Hill Country, out west in the Big Bend area or even more elaborate trips to Mexico and beyond. Contact me for more information and be sure to check out my web page at http://www.texastargetbirds.com/ for details on the services that I provide.
