I made a visit to Brazoria NWR yesterday morning and unfortunately wasn’t quite prepared for the swarms of mosquitos that greeted me there. Considering the insect challenges at the refuge my visit was a relatively quick one though I couldn’t resist taking a few photos of this Dickcissel that was singing away in a small bush near the auto-loop.
