After what feels like a VERY long closure of Anahuac NWR I got the opportunity to visit the refuge yesterday. It sure was great being able to drive around the area and witness the beauty of spring that was abundant everywhere. One of the highlights of the visit was this Mourning Warbler who made a brief appearance at the woodlot.
