The first morning of our Cuba trip was quite eventful in terms of birds with several endemics photographed within the first couple of hours of light. This Cuban Bullfinch was one of them. It’s really exciting when the birds are coming so fast you don’t know what direction to point your camera. It actually turns out that the Cuban Bullfinch isn’t a true endemic as it can also be found on Grand Cayman but hey it has Cuban as part of its name so definitely was a must see on the island.
