While poking around at Brazoria NWR yesterday I was delighted to hear the familiar sounds of Sedge Wrens. I then spent the next hour or so trying to see one. They were scurrying around in the tall grass like little mice popping out here and there and disappearing before I could lock focus on them. Eventually this one stayed long enough for me to get a mostly clean shot. For a little brown bird the Sedge Wren is pretty snazzy looking.
