We encountered this White-flanked Antwren during our visit to Trinidad last month. This is one of those birds that liked to hang around beneath the canopy where there isn’t a whole lot of light. This one was nice enough to come in for a decent look but it didn’t ever really stop moving so I felt pretty fortunate to get this shot.
We will be doing this trip again in spring of 2019, if you think you might be interested more information is available here: www.texastargetbirds.com/group-photo-trips/2019-trinidad/
