Of all the small colorful birds we saw on our Costa Rica trip last month I think my favorite is the male Red-legged Honeycreeper. I just love all that color and I think the bird is beautifully shaped. It was such a pleasure to be able to spend time at a feeder where several beautiful males were coming in to eat at close range.
