Another member of the welcoming committee on the first day of our Costa Rica trip last month was this female Black-and-yellow Silky Flycatcher. I was very pleased that she was willing to just hang out on such a nice looking perch and be patient enough for me to get my act together. When I first spotted her sitting there my camera was still packed in my luggage!
