"We are here"

This is a replica of the prayer pole carved in 2006 from the "Gateway alder tree" by Russell Beebe, Native American carver. It honors the first Nations of the Rogue Valley. The original wood carving is now on display in the Hannon Library at Southern Oregon University, in Ashland.

The bronze replica was created by artist Jack Langford in 2013.
