One feature that I really like is the ability to shoot still photos whenever you want while shooting video. It gives good quality stills without having to try to do a screen capture later. I shot 1080p video of the July 4th fireworks, and captured stills of a number of eruptions that I liked. Since I was shooting handheld, the shots could have been sharper, but I was pleased with the results, anyway.
