I was not able to visit the Wall until I first went to Ft. Meade, MD in 1989. Like many others, I found it to be a very powerful place. Since I was in the DC area at the time of the 10th Anniversary Celebration, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend. It was chaotic, but very moving.
