COL Harvey was a highly-regarded senior Nurse Corps Colonel. His recommendation, combined with high scores on the GRE (Graduate Record Exam) gave me an inside track for funding for Long-Term Civilian Training. I was accepted into the program, to begin school in Aug. '83. My school of choice was the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.
