A couple doors down from Griffins is the local Farm Supply store; a collection of odd and ends, nails, screws, and wire mixed in with bib overalls, galvanized steel buckets, post-hole diggers and chick feeders. In the back is where they keep the animal feed and if you've ever spent time on a farm you know that there is only one glorious smell on the planet like it. The first time I wandered back there it brought a tear to my eye. In the spring they sell a lot of plants and seedlings... to make up for their loss of farm business, no doubt.
