Wow, j'adore, non seulement j'aime la disposition des arbres au loin, mais aussi cette étrange sensation, la terre complétement dessécher, et le vert des arbres, la vie quoi....

Bonjour, Cyril,
When reading the autres messages, I don't know if je dois écrire in English or en français.
Let's try both as we, French people, are used to doing so....
Alors cette picture, elle est juste amazing ! Une oeuvre of art.
Thanks beaucoup de partager such beauty of nature avec nous.
Take care.

Très belle photo d'un autre monde frangin ! Bravo ! On se demande comment ces arbes peuvent être aussi vert avec une terre aussi déséchée !

Very, very effective treatment - accentuated the contrast between the trees and the parched desert. An example of how selective colour really works well.

A scene from another world. And such a great scene!

Cyril,

Great contrast in the living trees and the dead and crumbling earth. Very effective.

Very unique...looks like another world!

An outstanding shot that demonstrates the strength of the selective colourizing technique. The lines of the de-colourized, and therefore even dryer looking, lake bed lead to vibrant green life of the tree tops. Brilliant concept, brilliantly executed.

Hi Cyril,
Fantastic! Are you sure you didn't just Photoshop all those trees into this dried up plain? ;o) Excellent choice of framing and colouring of the trees. Good stuff. The big guns are definitely starting to fire in the C9 exhibition gallery!
Cheers, John

Hi Cyril,

Whaoo! this one is really beautiful. The selective color works great here and the texture of the ground is just amazing. Very nice composition with the wide angle and low point of view which makes the foreground connect to the distant part of the photo. The title is very well chosen ,as when you look at this you are in shocked disbelief that trees can grow in such a dried up area. Excellent entry.
