Oyster Mushroom on alder

A very rotted log was just covered with this kind of mushroom about a week ago. They looked nice and fresh in the rain. Today, with sunshine, they are all dried up. Does someone have a name for it?

If I was Chinese, the name for this would be "dinner."

Hi Ed,
The log looks like a cotton wood and these could be the Oyster Mushroom.
They tend to be brownish on cotton wood and more white on alders.......Norm
