All the experts seem to agree Aug-Nov is best time for foraging for mushrooms in southern BC. In autumn, with the return of the cooler, wetter weather they start showing up all over.

While I'm not a mushroom picker, I do enjoy taking photos of the different varieties. I had to work at finding them though. This fall think I've finally progressed to feeling confident that I'll spot some if they're there.
