He was parked in a lot beside a quiet country road, taking a break, his carvings displayed for all to see. We were greeted with a smile, some friendly conversation, and then he watched quietly as we admired his work. He's a talented chainsaw carver, adept at creating beautiful wildlife sculptures. We had a wonderful time visiting as we 'oohed and aahed' over his creative skills, finally leaving with a gorgeous carving of an owl. The bonus was his willingness to be photographed! All in all, a chance discovery that we will remember with pleasure.
