The Pacific Bleeding Heart, also known as the Western Bleeding Heart, is just beginning to show in the forests on Central Vancouver Island.
The sun was shinning, through broken clouds, as the light touched the flower. I grabbed my camera and, fortunately, I'd been shooting in low light, so I didn't have to worry about the settings!
