It looks like a normal mushroom, come to find out lots of mushrooms look normal, and they run from deadly poisonous to ones that are great for cooking. I'm not even attempting a guess at identifying it. All I know is it was small, only centimetres high, and seemed to be waiting to have its photo taken (almost posing), so I complied, said thanks and went on my way.
