This little doe was peeking over the top of a fence, checking out the stranger that was pointing a funny looking tube at her. There didn't seem to be any fear, only calm curiosity. It felt like an invitation to stay and just enjoy our encounter. Unfortunately, it was late and getting dark - this was the last shot of the day. After a big thank-you to the doe, we left and headed down the road home.
