One evening at Spring Beach on Lake Cowichan I noticed a little bird fluttering about in the deep shadows. As the sun lowered in the sky it shone on this tree stump which made it apparent why the Pacific Wren was so busy in the area. She had 3 mouths to feed in that well hidden nest.
