Editing this image was practice for the Extra Challenge (EC) in the 'Summer Fun' Field Trip, July 1-15. The EC involves focusing on one colour in your image and is open to many interpretations. This seemed like a good photo for trying out one idea. I did the normal basic edits on it in Lightroom Classic, then took it into Photoshop, created a new background layer and changed the hue of that layer to blend with the purple in the flower. I used the eraser tool to clean-out the flower, buds/seedpods (???) and stems, returning them to their original colours. Then flattened the layers, did a few more touch-ups and above is the result. I found it a quick, easy way to give my image a new and different look.
