Tryed something new. lighting the mushroom in the late evening,(with just a flashlight), using a tripod... of sorts, taking a number of shots at different focal lenths with the idea I might learn 'focus stacking' which didn't happen. moving to a macro lens I shot this.I am please with this image. The way the colours and the lighting give the mushroom an illuminated appearance. This mushroom is a Fly Agaric, or red cap and about 6" across. Although in daylight the colour leans to orange/orange red, bringing up the saturation some pulls out the red quite nicely.
