An old tradition still preformed today, often for tourists, is done to invoke water during extended dry seasons. The brave men climb to the top of a 100 foot pool and attach themselves to a rope. To the tune of a flute the men 'fall' off the spinning top and continue to fly around the pole which symbolizes rainfall. Each flyer must do 13 laps before touching the ground.
