Logging roads, also known as Forest Service or Resource Roads, are a network of gravel roads that connect to the back-country and were constructed primarily for the forest resource industry. The old roads are a legacy from logging operations that were common in last century. They provide access to remote places beyond our highways, however they are not built to highway standards and resource road users are encouraged to exercise caution.
