An estimated 100,000 people turned out for the Deuce Days car show, billed in the Times Colonist as the
"World’s largest gathering of Deuce Coupes..."
There were other pre 1952 cars but the Deuces were the majority.
"Of the 1,148 hot-rod entrants, 613 are from the U.S., 526 from Canada (187 from Vancouver Island),
three from Australia, two from New Zealand and one each from Finland and Sweden."
