The assignment was CHAIR. A photo friend invited me to her place for tea and to shoot her 2 antique chairs - this stunning 'green man' oak chair and also an antique 'monks' chair. Commonly, a chair like this was located in front entranceway, complete with a drawer to house outdoor wear such as gloves, scarves, etc. The antique store seller didn't have much information having purchased it from east USA. The craftsmanship in this piece is breathtaking. I wished I could have shot it in a studio for the extra credit. The natural beautiful light coming in from the skylight added to its ambience.
