Canadian Museum for Human Rights

This is a national museum under construction in Winnipeg with a completion date possibly in 2013. It is a multimillion dollar endeavor and is quite controversial for a number of reasons including cost, design and the fact it is in Winnipeg(not Ottawa).

Yes, funding problems have plagued this odd looking building. My mother's family (Swedish) migrated to Winnipeg Manitoba, as did many new comers to our Country, so I don't see anything wrong with it being built there, not a place I would go visit. Good you took a photo of it. Heather
