At the grapple, the cedar log is about four feet thick. It is being yarded to a landing where it will eventually be loaded on a logging truck, taken to a sort yard, scaled, bundled up with similar logs and strapped, then put in the water in a boom and eventually floated (pulled by a tug boat) to a mill where it will be cut for lumber, probably in Vancouver.
