fresh versus salt

Whitty's lagoon

This is Whitty's lagoon just East of Victoria. Freash water running into the bay meets the salt water and nature has an on going struggle to freeze the water. Its a nice 20 minute winter walk from the Sitting Lady falls to the beach.

Lovely colours and the impressive transition between ice and water. Gat lighting, and wonderful point-of-view. Perfect depth of field for this shot, too. This is a winner of a shot. Gail R.
