I'm not sure, maybe he was trying to scare his ol grandma; he may be afraid of the crab pinching him, that could be dangerous. He didn't have any trouble cooking, cleaning, and eating them.

Crab stuffed mushrooms, Ribs, and Salad. Yum Yum.
