Bride

I shot a wedding on Saturday and thought the bride's dress was very pretty!

Sorry for the small image. The design on her dress was a cut out/embroidered floral design. The grass is showing through the cut out part. This was a very very difficult yard to find any uncluttered locations to shoot in . It was very small and cramped with lots of yard 'debris' around. It was surrounded by an old chainlink fence as well as neglected overgrown gardens, a large pile of rotting wood, plastic toys, and other such clutter. I struggled to get the background as uncluttered as it is here with even part of the rotting wood pile cloned out from the upper left. I am afraid that 90 degrees to the left and there would have been a considerable larger amount of rotting wood and an old trailer to deal with. Such as it is photographing in the clients choice. I actually really enjoy the energy at weddings. I would love to shoot more of them!

Well done Vanessa!
Here comes the "what if" question - which is always easy after the fact:
Had you moved 90 degrees to the left - you would still get the full impact of the beautiful dress but you would have been closer to the bride!
Also the bright spot in the background would have disappeared.
As I say - we are all masters after the fact - at least you are doing weddings - good on you!
Keep up the good work!

Nicely arranged and you can't really cut anything out to bring it in closer to view on pbase. Out of curiousity, what was the design on her dress? Maybe a bit of explanation in your main comments? DonnaE

This is a lovely photo displaying the design of the dress. However, it would be nice if it was a little larger to view properly, :).
