Echo - the patient cat

Duncan

This is my first venture into manual settings. I've used a gaussian blur and adjusted the levels a touch but would love some ideas for the whiskers, etc.

Thanks all. I'll try to play with curves but I've not had much success with that in the past (lack of patience?) and sharpening the eyes to compare. HeatherS

Good shot, good DOF, good angle, good light on the whiskers, nice and clear eyes as well. JV

I think you did a marvelous job, for a first effort. You might consider lightening the image slightly using Curves, to bring out the eyes, and more detail of the black fur. Well done.

Your 'first venture into manual settings' is excellent. Nice depth-of-field. The whiskers are fine. You could sharpen the eyes by a very small amount to give them more punch. Nice shot. - Ed Maxfield
