Talking about bad luck...There I was sitting with my D2X in our Bedroom & my 200-400 waiting for the Red Tailed Hawk to fly away from the tree in front of our house..meantime this Buck passed by our lower bed room window, well not much luck having a 200-400 lens on D2X. Bottom line, I ended up with a 1/3 of a buck and the Hawk flew away in the mean time...oh well there is always tomorrow.

There is a lesson here, always carry a second body with a shorter or longer lens.
