HERE COMES FALL! A month of celebration and anticipation of a new season. The Field Trip has 3 focuses, see the details below. CAPTURING THE MOMENT SEPTEMTER 1-30 THEME: Share the day through your lens, i.e. morning coffee, mowing the lawn, reading a book, family activities, shopping etc. IMAGES: max 3 images per member SAY CHEESE… SEPTEMBER 1-30 THEME: 3 candid, casual or formal portraits, including 1 self-portrait IMAGES: max 3 images per member COWICHAN EXHIBITION SEPTEMBER 12-15 (Attend any or all of the days) THEME: Open i.e. animals, people, farm equipment, sports, events, food and don’t forget the rides and games! IMAGES: max 10 images per member EXTRA CHALLENGE (EC) GET LOW OR BELOW SEPTEMBER 1-30 THEME: get a new Point of View (POV), if you can’t lie on the ground then find a way to get an interesting POV underneath something or a shallow DOF. Make something look tall or elongated or see the world from the subject’s perspective. (not mandatory, but try it out.)
