Thanks, Iso3200, RK and Penny. Yes, Penny, he is wearing nose plugs. He was one of five people practicing different kinds of Kayak Rolls as long as I stood there watching. I wonder if it is common to use nose plugs during competitions. Gerald

are those nose plugs? - and I hope his eyes aren't closed because he's wearing contacts (that would be bad) - really though, it's a nice action shot! Penny Street
