Thanks for the comments, folks. Rod's correct that it's my mom (at the age of 89), and I'm afraid that walking back to her room is becoming just too much for her. The building has a lot of windows around the high ceiling to let in that bright Florida sun, so I just brightened things up even more to make her stand out and added a bit of radial blur to make it look as if she was really chugging along rather than proceeding at her usual snail's pace of one small step and then a long pause. Good eye, Sue Anne, about taking some leftovers (dessert) back to her room.

I'm not sure about the PP but it does focus attention on your mom Mary Anne and emphasize the power it takes sometimes to do what appears to be the simplest tasks. CJ
Very nicely captured, and I see she is taking her leftovers too back to her room.
It does take a lot of power to keep going as you get older.

This I think this is Mary Anne's Mum & I don't think she would approve of the overdone effects. It has the look of going up that light tunnel when you kick the bucket:-) There's a very nice picy in here somewhere.
Funny how are perspective of what tasks take power to do changes as we get older. Getting around is a lot of work for this woman obviously, but bless her heart she is giving it a good go. I like the effect you have used for this Mary Anne.
