Rod, You are too funny.

I fink Debi is pulling me leg, the dress & hair keep getting darker & her face lighter. At this rate it will end up looking like an English bird that's never seen the sun wearing a black dress:-)

Maybe my monitor requires a warm up when I switch it on because when I looked at it first thing this morning the whites were glaring & I couldn't see much detail in her face, now the reverse is so & it's looking good.

Thanks Jano- somehow I was not able to process this in adobe to my satisfaction- I really liked her hair and have a better image - only she had turned away by then- Debi

Its your eyes Rod- I actually did no PP on this except hitting the " Autofix" button & sharpening in Picasa before I posted it. Yes I cropped it too. The B & W is straight from the camera. - Debi

The overall image is wonderful. Obviously the eyes are in the shadows and there is nothing you can do....BUT, this isn't about face necessarily but the emotive of the image which is definitely here. OMG is a great title to a wonderful b&w. You did well on the exposure and really pulled off the softness of her garment and hair. jano

Debi did some work on this - that's what I think.

I think Debi did a job on me as the whites seemed toned down now compared wiv the face. Or it was just me morning eyes were playing up. It seems better balanced now.

well - I don't know if this means I disagree with Rod, but I like the contrast here. Penny Street

Nicely done megirl, great subject but the white of her hair & dress makes the face almost secondary. Can you bring up her eyes & face more? Itsa goodun anyhow.
