Thanks Rod and Debi. I was asked to photograph this girl again but asked to do so in full strong afternoon light. I normally expose for the background then control the model by adjusting flash strength to fill in the shadows. In this case I had to turn the flash off since it was lighting up the tree too much. Oh well, this one was only a candid. -Doug
