Well I took a series of pics here and later on she was all smiles so I guess he had a good explanation or charmed his way through - Debi

Thanks Angio- I am still learning and a long way to go - Debi

Doug - I am not offended, I just hate it when people (usually men) read into what they think I might have meant by a possible look that I didn't even know I gave them. But I really shouldn't have responded on such a personal level.
Debi has a good thought going here (maybe a woman's intuitive "read"), and is probably right on track with this title. Penny Street

Nice capture Debi, and your flash really brings out the subject. I also like how she is looking away from the camera, adding to thesense of "private" moment. - angioman

The impatience on her face make this shot.. the details matter not much. There is an imbalance between the saturated, darker tones of the woman and the desaturated, lighter colors of the bg which could be corrected in post processing to better unify the composition. -tv

Good shot Debi - you did learn well from the last challenge! Although I can't tell if she's really saying "Why are you late?", she certainly has an intense look on her face and does not seem to be very happy so this does convey emotion to me. Well done! CJ

Sorry if I offended you Penny. When my wife is upset with me I know it before she speaks and that is what I intended. In this case I was inappropriate in my statement "..felt through the phone" but I intended no harm. I was trying to reinforce Debi's title which I still feel is a good one for this challenge. -COAmature

Thanks Penny & Doug. Debi

On the other hand, it's also not fair that men tend to read into "The Look" - often with way more interpretation (or direction) than intended.

Well done Debi. It's not fair that woman can give "The Look" with a facial expression that can give direction so well that words aren't required. This one can probable be felt right through the phone. -COAmature

Thanks all. I was a couple of feet away from her. Thanks to the wide angle she never realized I am shooting her and not the back ground. Experimented with Flash compensation until it looked ok. Learnt something from the previous challenge after all. Debi

Very nice Debi! She does look a little put off from waiting doesn't she? Mumbai looks like quite a city in the background there. The flash worked great to get this shot.

I like the city view behind and the lady on the cell. An intense conversation....

Well done Debi, you exposed on the background & subject really well.

This subject really stands out Debi! And yes, you can tell she is definitely waiting for someone, or caught up in whatever conversation she is having. :) jano
